Duck Soup Coop Board of Directors Meeting February 18, 2009 |

Present: Peggy James, Donna Jones-Ilsey, Leo Kurlyo, Cynthia Nelson, Tanya
Nezrick, Mary Helen Polensky, Patty Ruback Absent: Ruth Peterson (our Secretary) was out of town President Tanya Nezrick called the meeting to order at 6:35. Manager's Report: Peggy James reported that the tax file was prepared and ready to deliver to our accountant, Pat Johnson. She also gave members of the board feedback on a request for a "scholarship," that is a waiver of membership fees. The Outreach committee reported that Patty Ruback would be hosting the next potluck on March 7th. There will be a meeting after dinner for those interested in working on a gardening cold-frame project. The membership committee is planning to review the membership handbook. Peggy provided them with the current version for when they meet. The Ad Hoc committee on the Store Building will meet for the first time on Wednesday, March 11th at 12:30 at Patty Ruback's house. Leo discussed organizing the basement. He has been talking over needs with a representative of the BOSCO committee. Leo will coordinate with the Outreach committee to ask for volunteers when he gets the basement clean-up scheduled. The next Duck Soup Board meeting will be Saturday March 28th at 9 am.
